Volcanic explosion hits Chile

A volcano in Chile has erupted for the first time in 50 years.

The event has caused over 3, 500 people to be evacuated from their homes in precaution of any further explosions.

The eruption has already caused a chain of volcano's in the Puyehue-Cordon-Caulle to become active, as flames and ash cloud fill the sky.

Government officials have already ordered closure of its airport along with warnings to neighbouring country Argentina.

These images are extraordinary and shows the force that our planet has.

I personally can't help but feel taken back by the power that mother nature holds.

There's something extremely beautiful about the strength of this event that is really captured in these pictures.

Lets hope the explosion causes no devastation and we can just admire these powerful images.
